Job Description

Summary:
The Supervisor Inside Sales is responsible for managing, maintaining, and building a team of highly motivated, self-disciplined, Inside Salespeople that are dedicated to customer service and sales growth. Will leverage technology and experience to establish and maintain customer relationships and bring new efficient processes to best meet the customers’ requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate training, projects, and specific tasks to personnel within inside and counter sales
  • Gather marketing information regarding customers, competitors, and pricing as well as implements sales strategies set forth by senior management
  • Supervise a team that processes telephone orders by quoting product prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms by offering substitute products where appropriate
  • Utilize company digital tools to sell, market, promote, demonstrate products, answer technical questions, and increase business through product sales to new customers and through additional sales to existing customers
  • Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships, communicates with customers and co-workers to provide technical information
  • Participate in product meetings, product and process seminars, and product training to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
  • Gains familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods
  • Work with branch personnel and vendor representatives to identify new potential stocking items
  • Drive supplier rationalization to improve margins and leverage with suppliers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


High School or GED - Required

  • Ability to consider all aspects of selling including vendor relationships, profit, and loss concepts and long and short-term goals of the company
  • Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers, and to be sensitive to their needs
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and the Web
  • Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to drive decisions with influence
  • Product and application knowledge essential
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Familiar with Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM)

For the state of Colorado only, the pay is $77,246.37 to $115,869.56, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
