We have several full-service CPA accounting and advisory firms looking for Audit Staff at various levels with 3-10 years audit experience depending on the level. Seeking someone who is looking to make accounting their career. Current positions open are Audit Senior 3-5 years experience and Audit Supervisor/Manager 5+ years experience.

Successful team members are responsible for leading and overseeing audit engagements, including planning, executing, and reporting on financial statement audits, by reviewing the work of junior staff, identifying key risks, and communicating findings to client management, while ensuring compliance with professional standards and client requirements.  CPA or in the process of obtaining a CPA license REQUIRED.

The candidates will ideally have:

• B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting
• CPA license preferred or in the process of obtaining
• Experience:
  • Audit Senior Accountant – 3-5 years of audit experience
  • Audit Supervisor/Manager – 5+ years of audit experience
• Experience in audits of nonprofits, municipalities and employee benefit programs preferred
• Ability to perform single audits
• Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and organize efficiently
• Proficient computer skills in accounting workpaper systems, and MS Office products
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement in client operations and/or weakness in systems of internal controls.
• Manager Level:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead an audit engagement including, but not limited to:
    • Planning and supervising staff
    • Assigning component tasks and overseeing their completion
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines
    • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks across multiple engagements
