Job Description

This position will be responsible for assisting the product development team in data analysis for our suite of products. The Data Analyst Intern’s primary responsibility involves handling daily data requests and working with the product development team to gather and analyze weekly and monthly reports on product growth.

The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, works autonomously, and makes themselves indispensable through handling voluminous amounts of data with an analytical mind. We are looking for someone who is excited to leverage data to identify and solve business problems with a foundation in math, statistics, and forecasting.

Summary of Tasks:

  • Assist the Product Development Manager and Product Manager

  • Process incoming data requests

  • Query and analyze reports in both MySQL and Postgres databases

  • Leverage analytics to identify data patterns

  • Build data visualization in dashboard application [Klipfolio] to display reports

  • Maintain and update dashboard application [Klipfolio] daily

  • Perform end user-product testing for QA as needed

Qualifications

Internship Requirements:

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience with Excel

  • Experience with database design and concepts

  • Excellent attention to detail & ability to multitask

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience with third party data analysis (tools like Klipfolio a plus)

  • Experience with PHP and ASP a plus

  • Understanding of Scrum methodology a plus

  • Willingness to learn
