Redica Systems is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our India-based tech team and help us tackle new and ongoing release projects. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, significant experience in software quality assurance and automation, and the ability to effectively manage complexity while ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the QA point person for one or more products
• Collaborate closely with distributed development resources across multiple offices
• Plan, create, and document test plans and cases for projects
• Plan, create, execute, and document automated test scripts for projects
• Identify and communicate risks along with risk mitigation strategies
• Assist in scheduling estimates, timelines, and milestones
• Contribute to designing and evolving the company's QA process
• Identify issues and generate detailed issue reports
• Assist developers in analyzing issues

• 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience
• Experience testing websites, SaaS, and/or web-based technologies
• Strong understanding of SDLC and SQA methodologies
• Excellent communication skills within a team environment
• Strong understanding of web-delivered applications
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and web development languages
• Experience creating test cases and testing documentation with or without requirements/specifications
• Proficiency in manual testing of UI, API, and Databases
• Experience in automating UI, API, and Database validations using [mention specific automation tools]
• Proficiency in using Jira and Xray as test case management tools and Bitbucket as a pipeline
• Knowledgeable about popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.)
• Familiarity with major operating systems (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Unix)

Major Pluses 

• Experience with automation tools like Cypress and Pytest
• Experience with databases like Snowflake and Dynamo
• Experience in load and performance testing
