Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to perform study specific rating scales/assessments according to Good Clinical Practice and study protocol requirements. This includes the successful completion of training on specific rating scales prior to the commencement of any study procedures. 

At Re:Cognitiion we have several Psychometric positions available, and are actively taking applications part-time and one full-time positions.  When applying, please indicate in your cover letter if you are interested in part-time, full-time or either.

Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnostic evaluations of study participants as indicated, utilizing the appropriate technology required by each assessment
  • Conduct cognitive, diagnostic, and clinical assessments of study participants, as well as care giver interviews
  • Preparation and maintenance of assessment equipment
  • Team player – intricate member of clinical research team
  • Perform accurate scoring and data entry
  • Patient recruitment for offered clinical trials and maintenance of tracking systems

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine interest in the field of cognitive and/or mental health research, and will be able to work in a small, dynamic office of dedicated professionals. Must have the ability to demonstrate situational awareness and empathy while working with patients of diminished mental capacity. 

Qualifications

Master’s Degree preferred

Experience with cognitive assessments in adults and geriatric populations

Highly Desirable:  CDR certification and experience, ADAS-Cog and ADCS-ADL Training, C-SSRS Certification, MMSE / MOCA / WAIS-IV / R-BANDS / CVLT experience

Ability to keep patient confidentiality

Must be able to successfully pass a basic background investigation including pre-employment drug screening
