Job Description

This position will reside within REBA’s Education & Engagement team and will work collaboratively across the entire organization.   The manager will be responsible for REBA’s member events and member education experiences including creation, implementation, and oversight.  This position will require engagement both externally across REBA’s membership and internally across the entire team.


Core Responsibilities
•    Build annual and long-term strategies for the deployment of REBA’s education and engagement programs, including workshops, small group trainings, webinars, digital education platforms, large-scale events.
•    Build and execute a project plan for the events and ensure project deliverables stay on time and budget.
•    Create funding opportunities and sponsorship packages for events, products, and deliverables
•    Design and assist in facilitating innovative and impactful workshops, webinars, and meetings to gather and share best practices and tools and resources created as a part of this work.
•    Develop curricula that allow REBA’s diverse membership from across the renewable energy industry to engage with current market developments.
•    Lead a small team of REBA staff and members as well as external contractors to facilitate and execute events.
•    Other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications

•    Master’s degree and 7+ years’ experience or equivalent professional experience 
•    Experience in design, delivery and execution of programs, resources, tools and platforms to provide guidance for organizations seeking to procure renewable energy.
•    Industry experience in energy procurement or renewable energy markets
•    Project management training or experience leading a project 
•    Team management/leadership
•    Multi-party stakeholder engagement preferred.
 

Additional Information

Compensation
The salary band for the Manager level is $86,000 to $130,000 per year with a 10% annual bonus opportunity.  Our target salary for this position is $90,000.
