The Renewable Energy Buyer Alliance (REBA) is seeking an experienced software development contractor to supplement our development team on a variety of mission critical IT projects.

The Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance (REBA) is an alliance of large clean energy buyers, developers, service providers, and NGOs, who are unlocking the marketplace for all non-residential energy buyers to lead a rapid transition to a cleaner, prosperous, zero-carbon energy future.

Contract Description 

Hourly Rate:  This contract pays $65 per hour.   

Contract Length: 4 months, with possibility to extend based on performance and organizational need. 

Schedule: 20 hours/week

Location: Remote   

Content: this position will work directly with an experienced full stack developer to support REBA’s development team on projects critical to our members needs

Required Skills and Experiences 

·        Javascript, HTML, and CSS

·        Using JavaScript with frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js

·        Ruby, Python or other object-oriented programming languages

·        MVC framework (Rails is preferred)

·        Proficient with git version control

·        Able to clearly communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.

·        Self-motivation 

·        Effective collaboration skills  

·        Desire to learn and grow their skills and expertise  

·        Communicate openly   

·        Demonstrate values that align with REBA’s: respect, integrity, service, excellence, diversity

·        Knowledge of JSON, API, REST, HTTP

Desireable Skills and Experiences 

·        Experience with agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban

·        UX/UI design

·        Wireframing

·        Graphic design
