Now, We’re looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance-Wealth & Treasury to join our team at Dubai Silicon Oasis, where you'll lead the way in driving QA best practices as SME, implementing test automation, managing onshore/offshore testing teams, and ensuring quality delivery of systems, projects, and enhancements related to banking systems.

Job Description

What you will do:

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Leverage in-depth domain knowledge of Wealth and Treasury and processes to support implementation, compliance, and transformation initiatives.
  • Engage with IT, business stakeholders, system vendors, and regulatory bodies to interpret requirements, translate them into test strategies, and ensure compliance.
  • Serve as SME for systems integration, digital banking, banking systems.

Testing & Automation Leadership

  • Define and lead end-to-end testing strategies, plans, and processes across SDLC, including SIT, UAT, and PT.
  • Drive implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and regression coverage.
  • Review business requirements, functional specs, and design test scripts to ensure functional, performance, and security standards are met.
  • Lead QA readiness reviews, defect triage, and risk mitigation activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Own the QA metrics, reporting dashboards, and progress tracking for stakeholders.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Manage and mentor QA teams (onshore/offshore) and build a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in testing.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, external system providers, and schemes to align on test scope, SLAs, releases, and defect resolutions.
     

Qualifications

What you will bring:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • 5 year’s experience in Testing - with a minimum of 3 years in implementing, testing and supporting banking systems & projects, in a lead/SME role.
  • Solid understanding of business analysis will be an advantage
  • Experience working the Wealth domain as well as treasury will be beneficial.

Skills Required:

  •  Ability to understand business requirements & clearly document these into Functional Specifications Document.
  •  Ability to clearly understand systems / business requirements and create test scripts that will ensure smooth implementation and minimize production problems.
  • Ability to represent the QA team both internally and externally.
  •  Ability to understand, adapt & keep pace with the technological advancements in relevant business & other banking systems under QA team.
  • Optimize both efficiency in system operations and quality in service delivery at the same time.
  • Ability to understand the inherent system risks associated with Business & Operations and develop appropriate early warning and control systems to manage them.

Domain Knowledge

  • SME-level understanding of banking systems including core banking, card management, digital platforms, payment gateways, compliance frameworks, banking systems.

Testing Expertise

  • Experience in functional, integration, regression, and automation testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/DevOps environments).Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, JMeter, TestNG, Postman, etc.

Leadership & Communication

  • Proven ability to manage QA teams, handle high-pressure delivery timelines, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
