As a Senior Relationship Manager your role is to grow the Trade Working Capital/Commercial – Business Banking book, by meeting the budgeted asset and revenue targets, by ensuring adherence to the banks policies, ethics and code of conduct.

Job Description
- To achieve the budgeted TWC book growth, fees target and cross sell opportunities within the acceptable risk criteria.
- To source new business accounts towards increasing and meeting the required asset growth targets and NTB clients.
- To assist the ARMs/RMs in maintaining client relationships, Credit Proposal writing, Industry analysis, legal documentation, in addition to resolving of day to day operational issues.
- Preparing of Credit Proposals, Credit Memos for approvals, amendments, deferrals, revalidations, extensions, etc.
- Assist the ARMs/ RMs on servicing transactional requirements (Trade transactions, term loans, FIGP, ABF, etc., remittance related queries, processing disbursement, coordinating with the CROPS, Corporate Admin and Trade teams).
- Liaise regularly with various departments including but not limited to Risk, Credit, Treasury, Operations, Legal and Compliance, within the bank and manage requests and enquiries pertaining to transactions and/or documentation.
- Assist in portfolio management and ensuring minimal document deficiencies and monitoring of covenants.
- Attend to the clients’ enquiries and coordinate with various departments to ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Assisting with account opening, profile changes, digital banking applications, authorization letters, balance confirmations, etc.
Qualifications
- University Degree for expats and higher degree diploma or equivalent qualifications for Nationals
- MBA/CA/CFA is an added advantage.
- Over 5 years’ experience in similar role
- Knowledge of credit proposal writing, financial statement analysis, thorough awareness of various financial products and services.
- Basic computer application including but not limited to MS Office, Other core banking system, Moody’s Risk Analyst
- Knowledge of local legal system as applicable to Banking, Local commercial banking practice
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering guidelines and relevant Central Bank guidelines and regulations
- Translate customer feedback into Product improvements.
- Initiative and drive to suggest/propose efficiency and streamlining solutions.
