The mission of the QuoteCenter product team is to radically reimagine the shopping experience at Home Depot utilizing the latest web technologies and data tools. We are searching for a Business Intelligence Developer who is passionate about open source technologies and how to leverage them in our data rich environment (thousands of users, millions of customers, billions in sales). The goal of your efforts is to design and build out the next stage in our data journey.

• Experience designing, implementing, administering and documenting tabular and multidimensional structures for ad hoc data access, scheduled reporting, statistical, predictive, notification and forecasting
• Partner with members of the Business Intelligence and Data analysis team to define and expose data
• Debugs, monitors, and troubleshoots BI solutions
  
• Works closely with DBA's and other teams as needed to ensure BI architecture delivers enterprise-wide needs
• Identify opportunities to optimize performance of existing data structures for reporting and data warehouse design
• Navigate, understand, and leverage existing complex data structures for reporting and data warehouse design
• Understands Technology Limitations/Features and sets expectations with business users
• Recent work experience with one or more of the following: Hadoop, Spark, Storm, Kafka, R, Python ... you help us decide what we’re missing.
• Experience with Windows Server, Ubuntu (or other) Linux
