Headquartered in Germany, and incorporated in the United States, Italy and Spain, we are committed to informing decision makers of current and prospected cyber and geopolitical threats by providing Finished Intelligence, tailor-made for their organization.

Our Technology Department works towards the development of applications which improve existing Threat Intelligence processes. As a key part of the department, the Application Development is focused on producing resilient and high-quality applications in a technologically complex, dynamic, and demanding environment.

Our ca. 20 technology colleagues are distributed across Germany, Italy, and Spain.

Job Description

As a front-end software engineer, you will: 

  • Design and deliver responsive web applications for cyber threat intelligence platforms, creating value for our customers. 
  • Contribute to building rich, interactive data visualizations and modern UIs within our platforms. 
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and other teams. (Cyber Threat-Intelligence analysts, Cybersecurity Researchers, Product Managers, ML/AI colleagues etc.) 
  • Work closely with back-end colleagues to design and implement new interfaces. 
  • Use your experience and skills in areas of application development, testing, continuous integration, deployment.

Qualifications

We look for a candidate with... 

  • Enthusiasm for finding the right solutions, delivering clean code, sustainably adding value to the platform. 
  • University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Mathematics or equivalent. Alternatively, 3 additional years of experience in software development. 
  • 3 years of experience developing and delivering Frontend applications. 
  • Proficiency with Typescript, React, Webpack, HTML/CSS. 
  • Experience building React Apps 
  • Strong knowledge of Typescript type system  
  • Proficiency with frontend fundamentals (HTML / CSS / JavaScript) 
  • Solid experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines. (especially Playwright, Jenkins) 
  • The right attitude to thrive in a remote team; to work independently and collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures. 
  • Fluency in English. 
  • EU citizenship or Valid Work Permit. 

Nice to have

It would be great if you also have... 

  • Good working knowledge of UX and design principles. 
  • Experience with data visualization, chart libraries, and big data analysis. 
  • Experience with Design Systems and Figma 
  • Experience working with Linux and developing in containerized environments. (Docker)

What's the pay like?

Since December 2022, we operate a transparent compensation framework.

The beginning of this compensation band starts at 58,500 € TTC for 2024:

  • Base: 50,000 € gross annual salary
  • Bonus: 10% of annual gross base salary
  • Benefits: 3,500€ for Year1 as outlined below.

What's the recruitment process like?

  • You apply and fill a couple of screening questions.
  • We review all applications.
  • We invite the top 25% to an online assessment via Vervoe and an interview with our People Team via MS Teams.
  • We schedule the top 4-5 candidates with our Development Lead, and a couple will meet our VP Engineering / CTO for final interviews.
  • We make an offer and conduct background checks.
