QSG is assisting with an immediate search for an IT Support Specialist for one of the biggest and best wholesale and retail supplier of Mardi Gras beads, party supplies, novelties and plush/stuffed toys in New Orleans, Louisiana.

What You'll Do

IT Specialist responsible for supporting the company's hardware and software resources, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining system efficiency. This role involves evaluating market trends, collaborating with various teams, and implementing technology solutions to enhance e-commerce operations.

• Perform daily, monthly, and annual activities to support hardware and software resources.
• Evaluate market trends and stay updated on emerging technologies and e-commerce developments.
• Ensure high quality of data integrity by creating and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and standards.
• Regularly monitor and initiate software updates, ensuring they do not cause conflicts.
• Maintain and support integrated applications with hosted customer websites.
• Provide support and maintenance for SAP, Shopify, POS, ShippingEasy, and other software.
• Administer network and data security, including firewalls and virus protection.
• Perform and maintain data backups to ensure safety and integrity of company data.
• Collaborate with the eCommerce Data Manager to integrate and update technology.
• Liaison with third-party selling channels to resolve service and integration issues.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing staff to implement new sales channel opportunities.
• Customize and develop Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate third-party apps and sales channels to extend Shopify's functionality.
• Implement best practices for SEO and accessibility.
• Connect Shopify stores with other systems through APIs.
• Identify and fix bugs or issues on the website.
• Collaborate to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Update website content, including products and navigation.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Required).
• 3 years of IT experience (Required).
• Driver's License (Required).
