What You'll Do

Overall responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of our technology in all locations (New Orleans, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Houma). This would involve both employees’ laptops and internal systems and applications. A key aspect will be working alongside a national organization to deliver the best experience to our employees.

  • Diagnosing and addressing hardware, software, and network problems for internal clients or external customers.
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s phone system, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Oversee mobile platforms, including setup, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Troubleshoot issues with the postage machine for efficient mail handling.
  • Utilize fax software for sending and receiving documents securely.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot printers to ensure they are operational and meet the needs of the team.
  • Providing instructions and support to users on how to use business-specific programs and resolving common issues like reestablishing internet connections.
  • Installing, configuring, and updating software and hardware components.
  • Keeping accurate records of issues and solutions and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Educating users on new hardware or software and ensuring they can operate these systems effectively.
  • Assist in other responsibilities as assigned to meet company needs.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and courteous demeanor.

Qualifications

What You'll Need

Education: Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Management or a combination of related education and experience.

Experience: At least 1- 3 years’ experience directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities.

Skills and Capabilities

  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in the support and training of Microsoft Technologies.
  • Capable of handling competing priorities and identifying urgent and critical priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and positive attitude.
  • Proven success in a collaborative, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
