Summary: Queens University of Charlotte’s Cato School of Education seeks qualified candidates for part-time teaching needs in undergraduate Education courses focused on teacher preparation in Math and Science. This part-time Adjunct Faculty position begins August 2023. This position reports to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. This position is exempt from provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not eligible to earn overtime pay or compensatory time off for additional hours worked. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of a master’s degree in Education or STEM related discipline, along with current teaching license (K-12)
• Preference will go to candidates with prior undergraduate teaching experience and evidence of teaching excellence
• Commitment to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion for students, faculty, staff, and members of the broader community

Work Conditions
