Admissions Operations Coordinator (part-time, benefits-eligible)

Job Description

Summary: The operations coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for graduate programs of the university responsible for using SLATE to recruit and admit students according to institutional policies and procedures. This benefits-eligible position scheduled to work 30 hours/week.

This position is not exempt from provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is eligible to earn overtime pay for hours worked above 40 in a single work week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
•    Manage the day-to-day operations within the CRM and ensure data integrity and reliability.
•    Provide on-going support and troubleshooting to Admissions staff on CRM functionality.
•    Process applications, document imaging, application management and communication plans.
•    Process decisions and subsequent communication.
•    Assist in development, management, and creation of automated communication campaigns for various target audiences within CRM.
•    Implement, develop and maintain templates for imports of all prospects, inquiry and applicant data.
•    Provide documentation and best practice standards for end users.
•    Conduct accurate data queries in CRM.
•    Develop and provide regular reporting on various admission cycles and processes.

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
•    Relevant work experience performing similar duties
•    Experience with data migration; knowledge of the SLATE platform a definite plus
•    Detailed and organized in processes with ability to communicate concepts and ideas thoroughly
•    Strong proficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, Microsoft Office);
•    General understanding of process mapping and business flows to guide and shape new methodologies
•    Superior customer service practices with the ability to positively represent the university at all times
•    Demonstrated organization and follow-up and follow-through skills to ensure completion of goals and objectives
•    Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands
•    Ability to quickly learn and apply new knowledge and skills
•    Proven exceptional attention to detail and ability to consistently produce error-free results
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills and track record of proactive communication
•    Proven ability to identify, define, analyze, and resolve moderately complex problems
•    Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills as well as ability to plan, organize and control moderately complex projects through to completion
•    Ability to handle and maintain confidential information; familiarity with FERPA desired
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Business Administration, Computer Science or relevant discipline preferred

Work Conditions
    Work in office environment, involving contact with faculty, staff, students, service providers and vendors.
    Work has deadlines, multiple interruptions, high volume and may be stressful at times.
