Personnel will provide support to the U.S. Army Signal School as Instructor/Writers that instruct and facilitate adult learning through modern training techniques and methodologies and assist in developing Government-owned Foundational curriculum focus on Computer and Information Technology fundamentals. Personnel shall meet the standards outlined in established Programs of Instructions (POI), Signal School training guidance, TRADOC Regulations 350-6 and 350-70. Personnel shall provide support through certified classroom instruction, practical exercises, technical lab support, culminating exercises and curriculum validation.

Basic Qualifications:

-Must be a US Citizen and must have current Secret clearance, verifiable in JPAS.

-Must have experience in instructing the aforementioned topics and published study guide.

-Must have excellent oral and written presentation skills.

- Must be capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment in excess of 40lbs in and out of classrooms and labs

-Possess skills/knowledge of performing office automation work that includes word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal computer applications; typing a variety of materials from rough draft into final form including narrative and tabular material, e.g., correspondence, reports, and forms; maintaining records, historical records, survey results, reference library of training catalogs, regulations and other miscellaneous publications; establishing and maintaining office functional files and reference files; knowledge management applications e.g., SharePoint, Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), and Blackboard.

-Must have graduated the Support Cadre Training Course (SCTC) and either the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or the Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course (FIFC) within the last five (5) years (preferred). Or, must attend and graduate from SCTC, ABIC or FIFC within 3 months of award of the contract and arrival at the Signal School.

CompTIA A+ Instructor Specific Qualifications:

•Must be CompTIA A+ certified, 220 certified or higher.

•Must have five (5) years’ experience and/or worked directly in hardware/operating system maintenance and PC repair.
