About the role: 
The role of an IT Associate you will ensure the effective and reliable functioning of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes providing support for hardware, software, and networking issues, configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, and maintaining critical systems such as Windows servers and email services. The IT Associate is responsible for implementing security measures to protect data from unauthorized access and viruses, as well as proactively assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities in the network. Monitoring network performance metrics, managing the IT ticketing system, and collaborating with ISPs for LAN and WAN maintenance are also part of the role. 

1. Ensure an effective, resilient and responsive IT support (Hardware, software, networking) to different operation units
2. Handling day to day IT related activities.
• Asset maintenance (laptops and other electronic devices)
• Maintaining records of all IT assets and allocating assets to other departments based on policies and requirement
• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
3. Setting up computer OS & security measures (antivirus, firewall, active directory).
4. Maintain & troubleshoot Windows server, AD, email services
5.Liaison with user to ensure that requests or problem reports have been satisfactorily handled
6.Protect Data in internal computing systems from un-authorized users and viruses
7. Monitoring resource utilization and performance of infrastructure components and ensuring 24x7 service availability
8. Implementing and troubleshooting of security rules on firewall system (Fortinet/Cisco)
9. Screen the IT Ticketing Application and provide the related solutions get to the users in time with accuracy as per SLA
10. Responsible for LAN and WAN maintenance by keeping close liaison with ISP
11. In association with HR, taking all necessaries actions for exit employee, completing Technical Clearance Process

Required Skills, Qualification & Background:

• CCNA certification will be added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both on a proactive, planned, project basis as well as a crisis/problem recovery situation.
• Basic knowledge in Active Directory System, Server, email service etc.
• Knowledge on LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, L2 & L3 Connectivity, VPN, Tunneling, and Internet connectivity products
• Good interpersonal-communication skill to deal with people at all levels
• Computer literacy in MS-Office (Word, excel, PPT, Visio)

Role-specific requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience is preferred in relevant field.
• Experience in ISP/ICT service/MNC/ Group of companies is preferred
