• Lead technically one of our cross functional teams and ensure they perform in terms of quality, stability and delivery time

• Develop innovative software tools, applications, services, and platforms to enhance Quandoo's internal systems and product portfolio

• Coach and mentor your team 

• Foster the adoption of best practices, and state of the art technology, paradigms and methodologies

• Facilitate the collaboration between team mates, product owners, business stakeholders and peers siding with the team’s ScrumMaster

• Ensure reliability and scalability of the application and services the team has developed

• Own our CI/CD pipeline and the entire release process of your applications

• BSc / MSc in Computer Science or related fields

• 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams across different domains

• Strong experience in Android and/or IOS development, including some years of hands-on technical leadership.

• Familiarity with microservices-style architecture

• Passionate about creating high-quality clean code

• Knowledgeable in Agile principles & methodologies

• Effective communication and great interpersonal skills 

• Proficient in written and spoken English as we are an international team

Nice to have

• Understanding of key design principles of frontend development, experience with JavaScript frameworks and its core principles

• Experience with JVM languages beyond Java

• Familiarity with Containerization & Orchestration (e.g.: Docker,  Kubernetes and Helm) 

• Experience with streaming architectures such as Lambda or Kappa

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging (e.g.: Splunk & Datadog)

• Familiarity with GCP or AWS cloud infrastructure
