As part of our ambitious growth plans in the UK we are hiring looking to hire a number of talented Business Development Manager's across the country to help us identify new business to bring on board to the Quandoo system and own the amazing restaurant marketplace.
The ideal candidate will have the perfect recipe of experience in a field sales role, strong B2B relationship-building skills, have a hunger to close sales, and most importantly an ambitious drive to be the best. If you enjoy building rapport and a client facing role this will be a very exciting opportunity for you!
Regular contact with all clients and managed accounts.
Effectively communicate with clients via telephone, face-to-face meetings and written communications.
Develop and maintain a calendar allowing you to meet all established deadlines, planned activities and targets.
Be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of all products, features and benefits in order to
hit revenue driven targets across your restaurant partners.
Develop and execute a series of select member-only events for networking and knowledge exchange purposes.
Maintain strong relationships with key business partners.
Prepare and administer timely reporting according leads, pipeline and activities.
Sales driven, always being able to spot the opportunity to up sell a partner restaurant.
Update and maintain recording systems and CRM including:
Maintain an accurate and current database
Current activities, client details, call logs, opportunities, suppliers and other key information.
Sales follow-ups, sales calls, including pre-scheduled & cold calls (to existing accounts)
You will need to be flexible regarding changes and challenges that will be presented.
Either current Restaurant management experience (2-3 years ideally) however if you are currently working in a Sales/Account Management or Recruitment role we would love to speak with you
Experience with an online reservation or booking system
Target driven and determined
A problem solver, someone who can juggle any problems or issues that arise and fix them in a professional manner
A big team player, someone who understand the importance of working in a team and with colleagues across other departments
You need to be confident in your ability to converse with potential partner restaurants, chains and hotels
You will have strong organisation skills and the ability to multi-task successfully.
Your communication skills should be of the highest level. English - written & spoken, as a must, and any other language is a bonus.
PowerPoint and Excel advanced skills (desirable).
Willingness to travel, a driver?s license and car is essential
