• You will build and lead the R&D Team within our Technical Department
• You align with product team on new business opportunity for Quandoo and build new products in a fast pace
• You are responsible for the future of the platform and all strategic developments at Quandoo
• You organize and prioritize complex projects, ensuring operational excellence
• You foster and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment to motivate staff while driving process improvement through innovative solutions
• You actively mentor, motivate, and empower engineers, including hands-on code reviews
• You answer directly to the CTO

Managerial Skills: 

• You pride yourself on assembling teams of engineers capable of outperforming much larger organizations
• You are eager to learn a new programming paradigm and contribute to the initial stages of a new code base in parallel with building/managing the team
• You are able to cast a compelling vision, while creating, building, and extending trust
• Your innovative user-driven focus and attention to detail contribute to building successful technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Skills

• Hands-on track record designing and implementing algorithmically complex systems
• Ability to assess technical talent and put team members in a position to succeed
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices, 
• Ideally you have a full stack background including the following technologies: JAVA, Node JS, React JS, Angular JS
