Job Description

Quandoo NL is looking to add a Sales Director to our Dutch Operations, based in Amsterdam. The position works closely with the VP of Western Europe and others across the Senior Management Team. The main goal of the role is to design and implement a sales strategy, lead and motivate the sales time to help us achieve our target of "winning" Amsterdam and establishing Quandoo as the number one online restaurant booking platform in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and eventually Benelux.

  • Design and implement a sales strategy for the Dutch restaurant scene
  • Management of all sales activities, targets and budget management within your designated territory
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Management of a 5 person team (with plans to grow as Quandoo NL grows)
  • Strategy planning, management and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Establishing new distribution channels
  • Acquisition and management of Key Accounts
  • Presentation of Company and Product Portfolio to customers and partners alike
  • Regional market analysis and competitive assessment for strategy planning
  • Full cycle partnership management, therefore identifying, evaluating and negotiating strategic partnership agreements
  • Implementation, as well as localisation of new products, with an active effort to explore new market segments within local commerce
  • Weekly activity and knowledge exchange with Senior Team
  • Periodic reporting to management board on sales progress

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has experience managing a field sales team in a fast moving environment. You are someone who thrives on the challenges that a target-driven role brings. You know how to motivate a team and can encourage and inspire them to hit their indiviudal and team targets. You are competitive and strive to be part of the best and mantain that status and all the high standards that comes with. 

If you have experience working in a similar industry or have expereince dealing with booking platforms, restaurants or hospitality then we want to hear from you.

This is a new role for us and so we also want to hear what new and fresh ideas you can bring to it to help us achieve our goals.

You also must be able to speak fluent (ideally native) Dutch and fluent English.
