Job Description

•    Greet and welcome customers as they arrive
•    Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
•    Perform clerical work such as filing vision insurance claims, printing doctor schedule, computer data entry and faxing
•    Receive and open packages
•    Notify customers on status of orders
•    Call/ Text patients to remind about appointments
•    Prepare patient charts and insurance
•    Ensure office area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens and forms)
•    Social media posting and promotional marketing

Qualifications

•    Highly proficient in MS Office (word, excel, office, access) and social media
•    Ability to multi-task and adapt to new tasks
•    Detail oriented with solid written and verbal communication skills
•    Must have an upbeat personality and customer service attitude
•    Superior in time management skills
•    Demonstrate elevated level of leadership and responsibility
•    Stable work history and employment references from last two employers
•    Must have neat appearance to work in a professional office environment
•    Optical experience preferred but not required
•    Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines, computer and printers)
•    Willing to undergo a criminal background check in accordance with local law/regulations
