The NORAM Finance Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations of the Locker Business across North America. Reporting directly to the Global Locker CFO, this individual serves as the primary financial steward for the region — ensuring robust accounting practices, forward-looking financial planning, and rigorous business control across all NORAM entities.
This role acts as a true business partner to the NORAM Locker CEO, proactively challenging assumptions, surfacing financial insights, and driving data-driven decision-making at the executive level. The NORAM Finance Manager leads two key departments — Accounting and FP&A — and is expected to bring both technical depth and strategic vision to the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Leadership & Business Partnering
- Act as the primary financial partner to the NORAM Locker CEO, providing analytical rigor and strategic challenge to business decisions
- Advise senior leadership on financial performance, risks, and opportunities across the NORAM region
- Lead and inspire the Accounting and FP&A teams, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Represent the NORAM region in global finance forums and engage with the Global Locker CFO on performance reporting
2. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee all accounting operations for the NORAM Locker business including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable GAAP/IFRS standards
- Drive integrity and quality in financial reporting, ensuring all deliverables meet internal and external audit standards
- Manage external and internal audit relationships; coordinate year-end close processes
3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the annual budgeting and multi-year planning processes for NORAM, ensuring alignment with global strategic objectives
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, variance analyses, and financial models to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Produce insightful management reporting packages and dashboards for senior leadership and the Global CFO
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through in-depth financial analysis
4. Controlling & Internal Controls
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control environment across all NORAM financial operations
- Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and enforce SOX or equivalent controls where applicable; drive remediation of any identified gaps
- Conduct regular business reviews with operational leaders to assess financial performance vs. plan
5. Project Finance & ERP Implementation
- Lead or co-lead ERP implementation and/or upgrade projects for the NORAM Locker business, ensuring finance requirements are captured and delivered
- Partner with IT, operations, and global finance teams on system integration, data migration, and process standardization
- Oversee financial project controlling: budget tracking, milestone reporting, cost-benefit analysis
- Champion process improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and data quality
6. Additional Finance Responsibilities
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and treasury liaison for the NORAM region
- Support M&A activities, due diligence processes, and post-acquisition integration from a finance perspective
- Oversee tax compliance coordination with external advisors and global tax teams
- Drive cost management initiatives in partnership with operations and commercial leadership
- Ensure finance team development through coaching, performance management, and succession planning
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required)
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent advanced qualification strongly preferred
Professional Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4–5 years in a senior finance leadership role
- Proven experience managing both Accounting and FP&A functions simultaneously
- Demonstrated track record in a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B product business environment
- Prior experience in a multi-national or global matrix organization is highly advantageous
