Contract: Fixed-term 12 months (Tempo Determinato), renewable
About the Role
This is an entry-level commercial role at the front end of Quadient’s locker network expansion in Italy. As a Lead Generation Specialist, your mission is simple: identify potential Host locations, make contact by phone, qualify their suitability, and book appointments for the Site Acquisition team.
You won't be closing deals — that's the Acquisition team's job. Your job is to keep their pipeline full with high-quality, well-qualified prospects. Success in this role means a full appointment calendar for the team, a strong understanding of our target customer profile, and the ability to handle rejection with resilience and a positive attitude.
This role is ideal for someone at the very start of their commercial career who wants to learn how B2B sales works from the ground up, in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
What You Will Do
- Research and identify potential Host locations for Quadient parcel lockers — including convenience stores, pharmacies, fitness centres, laundries, petrol stations, car parks, and similar commercial spaces
- Contact prospects by phone (outbound cold calling) to introduce the Quadient locker opportunity, qualify basic suitability criteria, and build initial interest
- Verify key qualifying information before passing a lead: available physical space, opening hours, identity of the decision-maker, and willingness to schedule a meeting
- Book qualified appointments for Site Acquisition Support Specialists and senior Acquisition Managers, and coordinate scheduling efficiently
- Record all prospect interactions, call outcomes, and appointment details accurately in Salesforce CRM
- Provide weekly activity updates to the Head of Acquisition — calls made, contacts reached, appointments booked
- Work in close coordination with the Acquisition team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads
- Build knowledge of the parcel locker market, competitive landscape, and Quadient's value proposition over time
Qualifications
Your Profile
- No prior commercial experience required — we are looking for the right attitude above all else
- Strong verbal communication skills: clear, confident, and natural on the phone
- High resilience and a positive approach to rejection — cold calling means hearing 'no' often, and that's fine
- Results-oriented: motivated by hitting weekly targets and seeing your appointments convert into signed contracts
- Organised and reliable: able to manage a high volume of outbound activity while keeping accurate CRM records
- Curious and coachable: eager to learn and open to feedback from the team
- Proficient in basic IT tools (MS Office, CRM); Salesforce experience is a plus but not required
- Fluent in Italian; English is advantageous
- Eligible to work in the European Union
