Job Description
Hybrid (Milford, CT)
Onsite 2–3 days per week
Quadient is seeking a skilled US Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP team and oversee all disbursement activity. This role manages high‑volume payments, complex AP processes, and ensures accurate, timely transaction processing in accordance with company policies and controls.
- Lead and supervise the AP team, providing coaching, goal-setting, and performance management.
- Oversee daily AP operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and established procedures.
- Manage high‑volume vendor invoice processing, payment execution, coding accuracy, and 1099 reporting.
- Drive efficient month‑end close activities and support internal/external audits.
- Resolve escalations and process issues with a solution‑oriented approach.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support business needs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including hands-on work with high‑volume invoices/payments and complex AP workflows.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience leading AP teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
