Job Description
The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of assigned equipment and software within the Document Handling product line across a designated region. This role serves as a strategic advocate for the product portfolio, delivering product training, and sales support to both Direct and Dealer sales teams. The ideal candidate is a dynamic presenter, a skilled trainer, and a trusted advisor with deep industry knowledge and a passion for sales excellence.
- Sales Growth & Product Advocacy:
- Increase regional sales of Document Handling equipment and software through strategic initiatives and field engagement.
- Act as a product line champion, promoting awareness, adoption, and competitive positioning across Direct and Dealer channels.
- Product Training:
- Design and deliver impactful product training programs focused on product positioning, industry trends, and customer value.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the mailing and document handling industry to ensure training relevance and effectiveness.
- Sales Support & Dealer Engagement:
- Provide consultative support to local Dealers, Direct sales representatives, and dealer principals to enhance sales performance.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify opportunities and remove barriers to growth.
- Content Development & Presentation Leadership:
- Serve as a presenter for Quadient Live, shaping the messaging and delivery of product presentations to prospects and internal teams.
- Help with training programs for both sales and service teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- Proven experience in business development, or product advocacy within the mailing or document handling industry.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with experience delivering content to diverse audiences.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate across teams and organizational levels.
- Experience designing and delivering training programs, both in-person and virtually.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement platforms; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Passion for mentoring and developing sales talent.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
