Job Description

  • Exciting opportunity to manage the campaign strategy, planning and delivery of the Retail Marketing campaigns for the Loyalty business
  • A foundational new role in our recently formed Centre of Excellence, working alongside the Marketing Planning/Partnerships and Campaign Production departments.
  • 12 month Fixed term full time role based at our Corporate Campus in Mascot

As a Marketing Manager within our Campaign Management team you will be responsible for best in class marketing by managing the execution of the Loyalty Marketing calendar across our retail portfolio including Retail Partners, Coalition Partners, Shopping & Qantas Business Rewards. This critical role will help design the campaign strategy and lead the execution, coordinating with multi-functional teams to deliver exceptional campaigns that have channel, creative and audience impact. The role will provide coaching and guidance to coordinators and graduates, and play an important role to foster a high-performance culture to build deep campaign management expertise. You will drive impactful campaigns that engage members and consistently exceed targets. The role will also oversee and manage campaign budgets and related marketing costs to guarantee all activities are delivered within target.

This role will be responsible for the execution and delivery of the integrated campaigns, including creative development, project planning, media planning and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate has extensive experience translating marketing strategy into high-impact, creatively excellent, through-the-line campaigns. Beyond execution, they will manage marketing activity end-to-end, driving projects past delivery into optimisation and scaling. By leveraging data and research, they will continuously elevate the work to deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes for Qantas Loyalty.

You’ll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in either marketing or advertising account service, with the ability to critically review marketing collateral to determine alignment to strategy, fit with brand and to ensure they are compliant.
  • Sound understanding and background within Retail or Loyalty programs preferred.
  • A passion for creativity and ability to design innovative marketing solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Sound understanding of campaign reporting and analysis techniques.
  • Analytical mind set and exposure to working with data analytics, data segmentation and reporting highly beneficial
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with internal commercial and product stakeholders, and external clients/agencies/partners.
  • Experience in dealing with Legal and in understanding and communicating legal and commercial constraints to partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with Qantas management, and senior executive levels of external partners.
