We’re looking for a Manager, Marketing to lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of marketing activities across our Retail and Lifestyle partnership portfolio. In this role, you’ll own marketing activity that delivers significant revenue & strategic opportunities for the business working closely with senior stakeholders across Loyalty, the Qantas Group and our commercial partners.

You’ll lead marketing strategy for some of Australia’s most recognised brands, including David Jones, Accent Group, Adairs, Hoyts, HelloFresh and more, and manage a high-performing team of five marketers. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, takes initiative, and can balance strategy with delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and lead annual marketing plans for key partners and programs
  • Manage end-to-end campaign strategy, execution and optimisation across owned, paid and partner channels (Current operating model)
  • Influence senior stakeholders and collaborate with commercial teams to drive revenue, member engagement and share of wallet
  • Lead and coach a team of 5 marketers, ensuring clarity of priorities and development opportunities (Current operating model)
  • Manage budgets, performance forecasting and ROI reporting
  • Oversee agency relationships and creative/media delivery (Current operating model)
  • Identify new strategic opportunities to grow partner performance and program value

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 7+ years’ experience in direct and digital marketing, ideally in a data-led environment
  • Experience leading complex, end-to-end campaigns with measurable commercial impact
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leaders and external partners
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams
  • Confidence managing multimillion-dollar marketing budgets and reporting on ROI
  • Experience managing or negotiating with partners, agencies and suppliers
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn insights into action
  • Ability to prioritise across competing objectives and take ownership of outcomes
  • Knowledge of loyalty, customer value propositions, personalisation and lifecycle marketing
  • Retail marketing experience is a bonus, not a requirement
