Job Description

As Sales & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of a Food Testing Business Unit. You will  plan, execute and communicate effectively to lead a multifunctional team to drive projects to excellent and timely completion for our customers.

You will grow the company by working with a team concentrated directly on our customer’s needs. Your day-to-day activities will be to: 

  • Build, recruit, and lead a dedicated sales team focused exclusively on testing services. Inspire and mentor them to achieve and exceed aggressive sales targets.
  • Craft and implement a powerful sales strategy for both the local and international markets, driving exceptional growth in Food testing services.
  • Drive the development of proposals for new and repeat business assuring fulfillment of technical requirements including gross margin, terms, conditions, and proposal guidelines
  • Discover and develop potential testing programs within our existing client base and foster long-lasting customer relationships based on a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Deliver precise and insightful reporting of your team's activities, projections, expense management, and realistic forecasts to the executive team.
  • Create value for the B.U. through appropriate pricing as well as productivity improvement.

Qualifications

In order to succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Master Degree from an accredited University or Business School
  • Successfully driven the performance of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in leading operations functions in a high volume, dynamic setting.
  • Strong interest in operations management and P&L optimization. 
  • Extensive people management and development skills.
  • Excellent organization and administration skills.
  • Advanced Excel and computer skills.
  • Previous experience with operations systems is strongly preferred.
