What are we looking for?
An organized and driven Accounts Executive with experience working in the finance department of an IT firm.

As a Senior Executive- Accounts & Finance, you will:

• Be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and other financial statements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports and support as necessary.
• Understand the escalation matrix and how to get work done by escalating in case of delays. Whom to reach out to and when to reach out for business escalations.
• Responsible for recording and reconciling all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements.
• Analyze and report on financial status, including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation, and analysis.
• Consistently and strongly following up on pending payments.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare and file all necessary tax returns, including income taxes and sales taxes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Enterprise-level experience working in the finance department of an IT firm.
• Expertise with QuickBooks.
• Extensive knowledge of Indian GAAP.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Additional experience in auditing and international accounting.
• Knowledge of Procurement, budget/revenue forecast, etc.
• Experience with SaaS companies.

Good to have:

• Budget and revenue forecast knowledge.
• Procurement knowledge.
• Good to have but not mandatory,  an accounts-related certification.
