The Javascript Technical Lead is a demonstrated thought leader in technical and/or functional aspects of customer and partner engagements that lead to the successful delivery of Javascript projects at QED42.
The Javascript Technical Lead plays a critical role in setting customers up for success by prescriptively helping to shape and then lead the project teams within the Javascript space.
This role also provides the Professional Services team with subject matter expertise related to the proposed solution and client needs to ensure successful project delivery. This includes helping to identify and proactively manage risk areas and ensuring issues are seen through to complete resolution. Will have the ability to configure and drive solutions, while mentoring the project team to meet the customers' business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities :

• To lead the development and deployment of web applications, focusing on the use of JavaScript and Next.js for front-end development, along with Node.js for the back-end.
• Architect and implement full-stack solutions, integrating front-end, back-end, and databases seamlessly.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud-based solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Amplify, and RDS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Uphold code quality and sustainability through rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and deployment automation.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in technology, particularly around JavaScript frameworks, AWS cloud services, and full-stack development practices.
• Mentor and support junior developers, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Must have a passion for building great developer experiences, have high energy, and be capable of thriving in a high-paced and fun work environment.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Javascript at QED42
• When engaged with customers, assist with team leadership and help/exceed goals and metrics while providing insight into Javascript best practices
• Coordinate monthly practice meetings to encourage and share knowledge with members of the team

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a significant focus on JavaScript, especially Next.js, and Node.js.
• Demonstrated expertise in AWS cloud architecture and is familiar with deploying scalable and efficient solutions.
• Proficient in RESTful API development and experience with database technologies (SQL & NoSQL).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with ES6, React.js (SSR & CSR), Next.js 12/13+, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, React Native, GraphQL.
• Problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail.
• Comfort and ability to learn new technologies quickly & thoroughly
• Specializes in gathering and analyzing information related to web and data integration, real-time interactions, and customer use cases
• Excellent knowledge of Enterprise Design Patterns
• Good with Agile concepts and processes 
• Demonstrated ability to influence a group audience, facilitate solutions and lead discussions such as implementation methodology, Road-mapping, Enterprise Transformation strategy, and executive-level requirement-gathering sessions
• Exceptional leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

Good to have (plus, but not mandatory):

• Experience working with hybrid mobile application frameworks like React Native & Flutter.
• Experience working with headless CMS like Strapi.
• Experience working with visualizations & dashboards with large data-sets.
• Experience working with Python building APIs & AI applications/integrations.
