Cloud Solution Architect
- Full-time
- Department: Services
- Location: India - Pune - Remote Office
Company Description
QAD is a leading provider of adaptive, cloud-based ERP software for global manufacturing companies. QAD Adaptive ERP helps manufacturers in the automotive, life sciences, consumer products, food and beverage, high tech, and industrial manufacturing industries rapidly adapt to change and innovate for competitive advantage. QAD's Cloud Solution Architecture team is at the centre of every customer cloud journey — from the first technical conversation through to a live, production environment.
QAD is growing its Cloud Solution Architecture team and is looking for a Cloud Solution Architect based in India to join us on a permanent basis. As QAD scales toward 150–200 Adaptive ERP projects annually, our senior CSA team's delivery accountability has expanded from two phases per deal to four. This role provides the hands-on delivery capacity that allows the team to meet that demand without compromising our 21-day SLA.
You will work directly alongside QAD's senior Cloud Solution Architects, executing build, validate, and deliver phase tasks across QAD's Adaptive ERP suite. Your working hours will be aligned to provide meaningful follow-the-sun coverage across US West, US East, EMEA, and AP.
Job Description
- Execute cloud environment build tasks — tenant provisioning across QAD's Adaptive suite, Champion AI, Integration Platform, Advanced Scheduling, and Process Intelligence
- Carry out ordered-vs-built reconciliation, BOM verification, and exception logging via JIRA within the 21-day SLA window
- Complete environment handover — pre-live operability checks, handover checklists, and customer acceptance documentation
- Support senior CSAs with Design phase documentation, Solution Design app entries, portfolio compatibility checks, and BOM preparation
- Develop deep expertise in QAD Adaptive ERP, QAD Integration Platform, and supply chain integrations as your primary knowledge investment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent. Relevant hands-on experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure, enterprise ERP delivery, systems configuration, or technical
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in cloud infrastructure, enterprise ERP delivery, systems configuration, or technical pre-sales (candidates with demonstrated capability outside this range considered)
- Familiarity with QAD Adaptive ERP or equivalent enterprise ERP platform (SAP, Oracle, Infor); structured onboarding provided for non-QAD backgrounds
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure — tenant provisioning, environment configuration, networking fundamentals, and AWS
- Exposure to enterprise integration and supply chain application connectivity (EDI, WMS, PLM, Boomi, MuleSoft) is advantageous
- Structured, detail-oriented approach to delivery — comfortable with BOM reconciliation, exception logging, and handover documentation
- Clear written and spoken English; confident working asynchronously across a globally distributed team
