Senior Value Creation Program Manager
- Full-time
- Department: Executives
- Location: United States of America - Georgia - Johns Creek Zone
Company Description
QAD Inc., owned by leading private equity firm Thoma Bravo, is a provider of cloud-based ERP software for global manufacturers. As a Thoma Bravo portfolio company, QAD is executing a focused Value Creation Plan (VCP) to accelerate growth and drive operational efficiency. The Program Manager, VCP PMO will be a central figure in this initiative, directly responsible for translating high-level strategy into a portfolio of funded, measurable initiatives. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategic planning and operational execution within a PE-backed environment, ensuring that the company's key strategic pillars—revenue acceleration, global delivery, efficiency, and corporate development—deliver tangible, quantifiable results.
Job Description
QAD is building a Value Creation Office (VCO) to drive enterprise-wide initiatives across revenue acceleration, efficiency, delivery model, and corporate development. We are seeking a senior Value Creation Program Manager to (1) create and run the Transformation Office, and (2) support execution of special projects - from scoping and problem-structuring to driving the cross-functional execution. You will be the VP’s right hand on high-priority work.
What You’ll Do
Stand up the transformation office: build bankable plan of initiatives with business cases, milestones, KPIs, owners. Stand up transformation governance. Develop performance management (tracking, escalations).
Lead special projects in value-creating plan: assess, scope, structure, and drive select high-value initiatives. Create clear workplans, pressure-test hypotheses, and land recommendations, mobilize organization to drive operational outcomes.
Build business cases. Size benefits and costs, model scenarios and sensitivities, and translate unit economics into credible executive recommendations
Executive presentation: prepare materials for SteerCos, board meetings, and leadership reviews in relation to VCP. Prepare and support leading transformation office meetings. Own leadership cadence with select functional leaders.
Drive cross-functional execution. Coordinate Sales, Marketing, CS, Finance, Product, CloudOps, HR, and Partners; unblock issues; escalate crisp, options-based decisions.
Capability building. Coach workstream leads on planning, metrics, and storytelling; help harden VCO ways of working.
60-90 Day Outcomes (what “good” looks like) – Transformation office
Operationalization of VCP: top 30-50 initiatives identified; owners mapped; business cases, KPIs, milestones, and risk defined on the initiative level
VCP operating system live: VCP stand-ups, SteerCos, performance management in place
Finance linkage: Benefits logic and assumptions aligned with FP&A; initiative business-case templates ready for financial forecast inputs.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring (Must-Haves)
5–12+ years in consulting, PE operations, corporate strategy/PMO, or transformation roles with demonstrable end-to-end project leadership
Conceptual problem solving and hypothesis-led structuring; able to zero in on the crux, frame options, and drive to decisions.
Financial acumen with advanced Excel modelling skills
Executive presence & top-down communication
Cross-functional influence and stakeholder management across GTM, Finance, Product/CloudOps, and HR.
Language: Fluent English (written and spoken).
Location: Based in Mexico with ability to travel (~10–20%).
Nice-to-Haves (Pluses, not prerequisites)
Prior experience standing up a PMO/VCO from the ground up
Software/SaaS, industrial software, or tech-enabled services exposure
