Technical Program Manager

As a Technical Program Manager, you will help QAD Redzone’s product, engineering, and support teams release new products to the QAD Redzone customers. Reporting to the Application Support Director, the Technical Program Manager drives the end-to-end tasks that keep our constantly evolving product updates as a fun and engaging experience for customers and internal stakeholders. Release Notes, change management, in-App and email announcements, and ownership of the overall process ensures the business can deliver a quality product every month. 

This position is Full Time, Exempt, Remote, and required to travel up to 10% of the time. 

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the overall Release Program for QAD Redzone products, projects, enhancements, deprecations, and external announcements.
  • A love and passion for facilitating and coordinating internal stakeholders to ensure a great product release experience for our customers and the Redzone internal team.
  • Drive organizational readiness for new projects and enhancements, which includes the recognition of significant changes that impact our internal users and customers. 
  • Communicates, develops, and follows best-practice change management processes.
  • Perform regular updates with executives and cross-functional teams on goals, progress, and process changes.
  • Identifies risk and can resolve key program conflicts with the appropriate resolutions paths
  • Understand the escalation process for any critical path items or risk points that could result in delays or unsatisfactory project result(s).
  • Develops and promotes product updates in Release Notes using relevant media technologies.
  • Complete Support tickets as they relate to releases or the quality of a release.
  • Develops measurable release metrics to track and share with internal team members.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Familiar with communication and change management tools such as Slack and Jira
  • Understands basic concepts with CI/CD deployments
  • Sound judgment and excellent assessment skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. 
  • Experience working with project management, ideally in software or systems deployments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience managing or supporting software projects of different sizes, complexity and contractual types.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and function effectively in a dynamic environment, addressing multiple demands of internal teams and clients. Manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients as well as internal teams.
  • Able to work in a high-paced, high-growth environment. 

Education/Experience

  • BA or BS – Relevant fields of study can include and are not limited to Engineering, Manufacturing, Organizational Leadership/Management, Supply Chain Management, and Business Management. 
  • 2+ years in a similar position-providing direct coaching to business clients.

Compensation Package:

  • Base pay range: $90,000 to 120,000 USD Annually (12 Months) 
  • Placement within our pay range will vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location variations as well as internal peer equity
  • This position is also eligible for an annual company performance bonus
  • U.S. benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and well-being programs
