Job Description
QAD has an exciting opportunity for a Channel Sales Recruitment Manager role engaging and expanding indirect sales partners in the U.S., resulting in incremental revenue to QAD. This role reports into the VP, Global Partner Management.
Experience in channel recruitment, ERP & Supply Chain highly preferred. You will be responsible for the engagement, training and sales/related activities of QAD channel alliance partners ensuring quality lead generation,follow-up, and attainment of sales quotas. You’ll perform marketing related functions to drive alliance relationships and establish prospects. You will provide management and administration for tools, reports and processes and enlist partners into alliance relationships and support on-boarding on retention efforts with product training and certification opportunities.
This role will be remote within the Continental U.S., preferably near a major airport and will require approximately 30% travel.
What you’ll do:
- Partner Identification, Recruitment and Retention: Create on-boarding plan to engage new channel partners and educate them on our value proposition, product capabilities, and sales process. Provide training, certification guidelines and sales support for partner companies.
- Lead Management: Implement systematic approach to source, vet and track high-quality leads, and ensure they are efficiently acted upon once passed between supplier and channel partner. Grow and expand business relationships with partners to increase lead generation and revenue. Manage and establish guidelines for partner lead management and registration; ensure visibility within the CRM system.
- Sales: Manage and be the main point of contact for existing alliance partners. Deliver sales through existing partners and a new network of partners that actively promote the solution offering. Drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through best practices, training and support. Educate partners on new products and service offerings. Define and execute partner sales plans, manage sales orders and provide status to partners and/or sales managers.
- Marketing: Collaborate with channel partners to generate demand through co-marketing strategies and campaigns that focus on end-customers rather than products. Work with marketing to drive events and programs to extend the relationships to new prospects. Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
- Administration: Create systems and procedures to streamline partner management. Provide weekly reporting of pipeline and forecast using the SalesForce automation tool. Prepare written presentations, reports, and price quotations. Conduct contract negotiations.
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA desired
- 10 + years progressive experience in enterprise application and/or solution software sales industries.
- Prefer experience/knowledge of ERP and Sales in the software industry
- Experience in working with third parties and acquaintance with channel sales recruitment
- Proficiency in Google apps / Word, Excel and Powerpoint; CRM tools (SalesForce and/or Sugar) including PRM tools (Zinfi)
- Excellent spoken and written communication
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Business acumen, interpersonal and relationship building skills, including via social media
- Must understand supply chain, operations, business issues, typical organization and culture
- Understand QAD’s solutions and our competitive differentiation as relates to the industry.
- Able to function both at the strategic and tactical level

Compensation Package:
- This position is a performance based position with an estimated On Target Earnings of $200,000 USD per year.
- The base / performance bonus mix will be 60% base salary and 40% individual performance bonus.
