HR Manager is a new and exciting position within QACube, with responsibilities across many areas, such as: resource planning and recruitment, training, developing and implementing new programs through which employees are continuously motivated to achieve their potential. At the core of the new programs will be innovative strategies to recruit and retain the best. Working from our Serbian Headquarter Office in Novi Sad, the HR Manager will be supporting a fast-growing global team and cooperating with the teams in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Zurich. Join QACube! 

Job Description

  • Develop and implement HR strategy in line with the business plan in an agile technology environment
  • Ensure that HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with the changes in the organization
  • Maintain staff organization by establishing a recruiting, assessment, and interviewing program; counsel managers on candidate selection; conduct and analyze exit interviews; recommend changes
  • Enhance the organization's Human Resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs and practices
  • Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Develop and communicate employee benefit programs by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommend benefit programs to the management
  • Build good relationships with the local IT community and keep track of the current trends in the market; maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications; establish personal networks; participate in professional societies
  • Act as a role model and source of knowledge for the organization, work with others in a collaborative and solution-focused manner to achieve win-win outcomes 
  • Quickly establish credibility and respect, and build strong working relationships with managers and employees
  • Provide information and reports on data such as staff turnover, references, hiring costs, training hours per person, monitor absence, etc
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and legally compliant


  • Educational background related to HR - Bachelor or higher degree in Social Sciences
  • HR Manager level experience - must be comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
  • Working experience in IT industry and proven track record of successful recruiting in IT industry
  • Results focused - understand what is important to employees, clients and management, committed to achieving goals 
  • Display integrity - honesty and a strong moral compass in personal behavior and in dealing with others
  • Demonstrate passion - approach all tasks in an enthusiastic way, committed to upholding professional standards 
  • Superb communication skills - handle complex and difficult situations diplomatically
  • Able to solve both operational and strategic issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach
  • Ability to deliver the appropriate information to the right people
  • Take a broad interest in the success and development of the company and the Human Resources’ function as a whole
  • Demonstrate an understanding of personalities and behavioral styles; work collaboratively with a variety of people and make informed decisions about resourcing and employee relationships
  • Able to respect deadlines and adapt to changing conditions; ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented
  • People development experience (e.g. soft skills development) is a plus
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English; German is a plus
