We are looking for a mid-level Software Developer in Test (SDET, Java) II to join growing team. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and excellence of our software products through automated testing. Your work will directly impact the user experience and our ability to meet market demands. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days on-site and 1 day remote and will be a W-2 Hourly 9-12-month contract with possible extension. 

The hourly rate is $58/hr. – $62/hr. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for limited benefits such as health insurance, professional development, trainings, our referral bonus program, and our wellness program.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Contribute to the development of comprehensive test plans outlining manual and automated testing approaches.
• Execute manual test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and other relevant tools/frameworks.
• Implement and enhance automated test frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct regular automated regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Proven experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language for test automation.
• Solid experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Java.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
