pureIntegration, a technology consulting firm with 19 years of experience servicing Fortune 100 clients is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst (SDET, Automated, Java, Python) III, who will be responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. This role will be involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, and test execution.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Work Arrangement: W2 Hourly Employment
Work Authorization: GC, US Citizens. We don’t accept or work with C2C contractors.
Job Description
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and obtain/drive mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Define and execute relevant business scenarios to satisfy real-world business needs.
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
- Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrate them into business processes to address the needs of the business.
- Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
- Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
- Document all problems and assist in their resolution.
- Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
- Perform quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with automation of different applications
- 3+ years of experience working with Cucumber automation framework
- Strong experience with Cypress automated testing framework
- Strong experience with GIT Version Control System
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- 5+ years of experience working with CICD (Jenkins or Concourse- preferred)
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiatives to resolve the roadblocks and implement technical changes
- Ability to effectively collaborate and the take the ownership to refactor code based on industry standards and best practices
- Ability to effectively collaborate and participate in technical architecture meetings with other Software Engineers in Philadelphia
- Advanced experience with JIRA in creating sprints dashboards and knowledge of Agile ceremonies
