pureIntegration, a technology consulting firm with 19+ years of experience servicing fortune 100 clients, is seeking a Java Developer (Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, HTML) IV to join our growing team developing video platforms that handle billions of requests and millions of users.  The team designs, develops, delivers innovative products and services that are essential to bringing Internet, TV and voice to more than 28 million residential and business customers. 

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Work Arrangement: W2 Hourly Employment

The Java Developer will design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Follow approved life cycle methodologies, create design documents, and perform program coding, testing, and other duties as necessary. 

• Familiar with industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Contribute to the design and development of high-quality software for large scale distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot Framework. 
• Perform unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities.
• Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents that are in accordance with the company’s architecture standards.
• Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk.
• Performs and/or leads design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution.
• Develops basic and detailed program specifications.

• Requires a bachelor's degree and 5 -8 years of experience in the field of Software Development.  
• Proficiency in the following general areas: Java, JavaScript, HTML, Spring Boot Framework.
• Experience creating web services.
• Core development experience in large-scale enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework.
• Experience in SQL (DB2 & SQL databases)
