We are looking for an engineer who is able to listen to users, understand technical requirements, collaborate on solutions, and deliver technology services in a high velocity, dynamic, "always on" environment. As a member of our team, you will work with other engineers to produce critical applications & infrastructure and the tools and processes that enable our systems to scale at a rapid pace. One day might involve creating an API that returns a customer's channel lineup or performance tuning of a Java web application; the next may be building tools to enable continuous delivery or infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities:       

• Translate high level requirements to actionable tasks/deliverables.
• Produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and continuously integrated.
• Collaborate with QA in test planning and test coverage.
• Collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD in operational visibility, triaging incidents, and deployment planning.

Required Skills:

• 8 years' experience with Node.js and JavaScript
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering with software development and deployment experience or equivalent work experience. 
• Must be knowledge on cloud technologies such as AWS or equivalent (Azure, GCP)
• Must be able to manage and develop additional features on existing code bases written in Node.js.
• Must be able to design data models and recommend databases according to the requirements.
• Must be familiar with NoSQL databases and query languages.
• Should have a good understanding of securing data in transit and at rest.
• Should be able to provide high level designs, architecture of systems, and execute them.
• Should be able to design and implement code and build, and deploy, pipelines using declarative languages. Example: Concourse CI
• Should be able to manage cloud infrastructure using Docker on Faregate Containers, Kubernetes etc.
• Should be able to design and architect micro services.
• Should be well versed with cutting edge design paradigms such as Stream processing, Micro service architecture, GraphQL, Restful Design etc.
• Ambitious and highly motivated to deliver outstanding solutions with minimal mentorship.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills and experience in monitoring, alerting and distributed tracing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Should be flexible to understand the technology dynamics and be adoptable using assigned tools / technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience zero downtime / impact releases, feature flagging, and experimentation.
• Experience on working Single-Sign-On applications is huge plus
