pureIntegration is looking for a DEVOPS Engineer, Junior - Kubernetes (Remote) to assist with design, architecture, and ongoing DevOps tasks of a scalable, fullstack, microservice platform. This platform consists of a microservice backend running on Kubernetes and an Angular frontend. The platform has high visibility as it is integral to monitoring our client's video delivery platforms.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting architecting and implementing scalable, high performing microservice solutions running Node.js, RabbitMQ, and Mongo. Help build and manage CI/CD pipelines to deploy solutions on-prem or in AWS (or other cloud service providers).

Location: Herndon, VA (Remote)
Work Arrangement: FTE, W2 Hourly, or 1099 Contract Role
Work Authorization: EAD, GC & USCIT

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage DevOps related tools for running and deploying microservice solution components for video monitoring and analysis
• Help analyze and improve upon existing Private/Public cloud architecture and design
• Perform deployment activities and help validate system integration with client systems
• Coordinate with Development Team and Client team members to collaborate design concepts and implementation plans
• Document architecture and communicate implementation approach to team members
• Communicate with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must have prior DevOps experience helping manage multi-node linux based deployment environments
• Must have experience building and running CI/CD pipelines
• Must have experience with Linux environments.
• Microservice, Kubernetes, Cloud architecture experience
• Strong understanding of networking technologies

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with microservice platforms running on JavaScript/Node.js
• Video advertising platform experience would be a plus.
• Cable and video Industry experience; specifically, with Dynamic Ad Insertion and/or Video Analysis.
