Job Description

This temporary, 9-month position will work as an embedded member of our client's Marketing Operations (MOPS) team, which is a centralized global team responsible for executing CRM and promotional campaigns.

The Marketing Operations team is looking for a Global Promotions Planning and QA Manager to assist the Global Promotions Team manage the end-to-end workflow for promotions production requests, from intake to QA, to get our promotions ready for customers. This role will have the opportunity to work with marketers to shape customer-focused programs designed to deepen member relationships and enhance our acquisition efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with marketing stakeholder teams and manage workflow to ensure launch-readiness of marketing promotions, QA validation, and post-launch support
  • Partner with QA teams in Marketing Ops and Technology to ensure that promotions are properly configured and that the supporting customer experience (marketing landing pages and redemption flow) functions as intended; ensure that customer eligibility for promotions is properly gated to prevent customer escalations and fraud
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on tools used to build and deploy offers, offering feedback on promotional feasibility and flagging potentially poor customer experiences
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training and documentation for marketers on promotional capabilities, guardrails, and best practices for implementation
  • Work with Customer Care, Marketing, and Technology to address promotions-related escalations and ensure support requests and customer mitigation are addressed in a timely manner
  • Partner with Tech and Data Engineering teams to diagnose and drive resolution of technical issues impacting promotions, including customer targeting and data hygiene issues
  • Identify when things are broken (in processes, tools, and promotions) and provide action items that the team can implement quickly

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing or related technical roles involving support of outbound (email/push), website, and in-app campaigns
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technology teams on requirements gathering
  • Technically capable with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in Jira or similar project/workflow management software
  • E-commerce experience (including prior experience with membership- or subscription-based businesses in a B2B or B2C industry)
  • Familiarity with SQL queries and experience working with databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization and reporting tools

Compensation Range: $34 - 70/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
