Job Description

The Senior Project Leader manages projects across a designated book of business. You will spearhead cross-channel projects, streamline processes, and drive efficiencies across departments. Reporting to Director of Project Leadership.

Your Impact:

  • Provide holistic, stem to stern Project Leadership for multiple, simultaneous, omni-channel campaigns and tactics of varying budgets for one or more assigned books of business
  • Maintain a seat at the table, being engaged in internal and external client meetings/calls, adding value and input and driving all work related to scope, timing, and costs
  • Responsible for communication with client including timing, budget, revisions, next steps, and other aspects of the Project Leadership function
  • Train direct reports and new hires across the PL team
  • Provide back-up support for Project Leadership team members
  • Lead in developing, implementation ,and adaptation to, process changes, tools, and marketing projects of the agency, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement to leadership
  • Promote collaboration and connectivity between the Project Leadership department across all departments within the agency
  • Foresee and respond to potential problems quickly, partnering with appropriate team members to solve
  • View the work through a strategic lens from a Project Leadership standpoint optimizing Account partnership in approach to and delivery of the work·
  • Determine scope and timing of projects based on client briefings and partnership with Account lead·
  • Manage assigned team's financial management, demonstrating complete understanding internal and client billing processes
  • Facilitate creation of internal budgets and estimates including agency fees and outside costs for Account Leadership review before client review·
  • Identify all tactics within an activation plan to be scoped and budgeted for client review·
  • Monitor scope of work and quote vs actuals to identify when change in direction, scope, etc. will affect production time and costs
  • Review, collaborate on, and provide accurate monthly billing worksheet direction to finance team by monthly deadline, processing billings for all completed work·
  • Manage billing packet compilation, review, and verification for assigned businesses
  • Provide guidance on all client/business stewardship requirements for assigned books of business·
  • Guide client billing process, ensuring that client financial and stewardship requirements are met and all qualifying billings are processed in full on a monthly basis·
  • Provide real-time status updates to internal team and client on scope, timing, costs, and next steps via job alerts, emails, and status meetings·
  • Coordinate details and schedules of all projects with Resource Management to ensure appropriate resources are allocated to the work·
  • Create unique, stem to stern job schedules based on scope of work outlined, building detailed schedule in Smartsheet, assigning team as relevant
  • Project manage all assigned jobs stem to stern to ensure each milestone is completed, managing schedules within system as project evolves·
  • Assist in acquisition of client assets, equity files, stock photography, translations, and similar needs for projects and provide to team to facilitate the work·
  • Manage deliverables and processes for photo shoots, video shoots, voiceover recording, editing, etc.
  • Manage all areas of deliverables with Project Leadership-owned vendors including Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal project meetings
  • Engage appropriate team members across jobs throughout the life of the project as relevant to the work·
  • Maintain all documentation of communication, timing, and attachments for all projects in proper Saatchi & Saatchi X systems throughout the life of the job

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years Saatchi & Saatchi X or agency experience or has demonstrated the knowledge base and skills of responsibilities as described above.
  • Demonstrate excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong process and operational attributes, detail-oriented
  • Demonstrate mastery in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Word, Teams etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with minimal supervision
  • Provide clear direction & feedback to DR's or new hires
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities including assigned book of business and mentor/train within PM department
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills within assigned team & Project Leadership Department
  • Ability to travel (up to 25%)

Compensation Range: ($70,000) - ($80,500). This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
