Job Description

The Supplier Diversity Engagement Lead will be responsible for a variety of tasks supporting Publicis Groupe’s Procurement supplier diversity, responsible sourcing and in support of the Groupe’s CSR related initiatives in support of the Groupe’s CSR priorities in Diversity, Responsible Marketing, and Data Protection. This role is critical for contributing to drive positive innovation, mitigate risks, and protect and enhance brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible Sourcing: Partner with agency, agency client and finance leads, and with Procurement teams to ensure diverse supplier inclusion through strategic sourcing activities.
  • Business Practice Development: Support agency client support and business development teams embed supplier diversity in their purchases, including formulating responses to client RFP questions on responsible sourcing and supplier diversity
  • Supplier Diversity Consultancy: Providing agency teams with potential diverse supplier lists and providing consultative support to agency teams for the formulation of robust action plans to meet or surpass any pre-agreed supplier diversity targets linked to client accounts
  • Internal Communication: Formulate and roll out communication plans aimed at educating or creating awareness and engagement on supplier diversity initiatives with agency key contacts
  • Outreach Liaison: to external organizations and partners, as required, including representing Procurement in Diversity professional associations. This will include identifying and establishing business relationships with potential diverse suppliers.
  • Subject Matter Expert: on identified areas and ensure integration with adjacent and relevant efforts while anticipating stakeholder issues, anticipate risks, and create mitigation or resolution plans
  • Data Analysis, Reports & Presentations: Using data collected from various stakeholders, vendor and business partners, as well as from additional tools, create summary data reports that will be used for executive level presentations for both internal and external audiences. Centralise any data requests, data analysis and occasionally provide assistance on analysing data on RFP responses
  • CPO Support: Creation of senior executive level presentations regarding key criteria including assisting CPO on consolidation and formation of required communications
  • Accept other responsibilities related to the function as and when required.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) with 1-2 years of experience of building and managing large/complex databases
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis and/or third party data reporting tools (preferably related to supplier diversity)
  • Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, be able to meet deadlines and adaptable to work in a start-up and international environment.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, whilst dealing with ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and superb interpersonal skills with the ability to establish cross-functional relationships in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Critical thinker, continuously willing to adapt to and help shape improvements to systems and processes
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of working experience, with international exposure.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, ideally in Supply Chain, Business Finance, Sustainable Development, Responsible Business Conduct or Corporate Social Responsibility, Research Analysis, or Social and Environmental Audit Background or related technical or quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, corporate social responsibility or project management experience
  • Practical experience related to risk consulting, ethical sourcing, corporate sustainability, human rights, and/or CSR
