Job Description

You’ll build interdepartmental client and vendor relationships while overseeing projects – and you’ll play a central role in training junior-level media department staff for advancement.

Right now, we’re looking for a Senior Analyst to drive that transformation in our Media Operations group – someone who can support and ensure the integrity of Web marketing, creative, and measurement strategies. Sound like you? Read on.

Day to day, your role will include:

  • Working with your Media team, Account Management, Creative and Measurement to drive seamless integration of work and ensure that all action items are accomplished on schedule
  • Keeping heads in the game: You’ll motivate and develop your staff while managing relevant parties’ expectations on realistic implementation deliverables
  • Building strong relationships with clients and vendors, serving as a bridge between media planning/buying functions and complementary technology, production, and measurement functions
  • Developing timelines for projects, and adding input to budget development to ensure resources needs are met
  • Confirming quality of all campaign elements and maintaining weekly QA and documentation
  • Identifying recurrent issues and alerting Operations Specialist/Manager to specific issues and possible solutions
  • Becoming proficient in Microsoft Excel and DoubleClick DART (third-party ad server)
  • Keeping a pulse on the industry – you’ll attend and participate in conferences and presentations from vendors
  • Willingness to travel as needed – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas

Qualifications

  • Four years of college education and two to four years of experience in in Web ad management or traffic within a high-volume ad agency or online marketing company
  • Hands-on experience working with media technology including ad servers, rich media vendors, and optimizers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a keen understanding of the digital tools that are reshaping media
  • Effective time-management, impeccable attention to detail and stellar project management skills
  • Comfort using third-party ad serving systems and sharp understanding of campaign performance measurement
  • Amazing interpersonal skills – you’re straightforward, you’re articulate and, above all, you’re thoughtful & kind
  • Proficiency in managing numbers – if you can whip through an Excel document, you’ve got an ace in your pocket
  • A love of media – and the motivation to learn everything you can and get better at everything you do
