Job Description

The Media Supervisor supervises specific groups of Senior Media Planners and Media Planners. This person plays a lead role on strategy development and manages staff and workflow to deliver flawless work while mentoring junior team members to provide ongoing feedback and teaching opportunities. This individual also continually evaluates and improves upon media processes and opportunities. . Has developed a strong understanding/grasp of other Razorfish service offerings. Has strong client relationship skills. Has proactively brought the client ideas beyond the scope of what was requested. Has delivered operational solutions to improve internal processes. Has a track record of owning team's deliverables and maintaining a high standard of quality. Has demonstrated emerging internal and external (agency partner) collaboration skills. 

  • ​​Inventory & New Channel Strategy
  • Meet with, vet inventory, and advance channel partners
  • Proactively identify opportunities to test partners and bring those ideas to programmatic planning counterparts
  • Create custom solutions including but not limited to: white lists, custom marketplaces, PMPs, SSPs, cross-channel, etc. 
  • Work with platforms, SSPs, and programmatic buyers to ensure accurate implementation
  • Troubleshoot supply issues on all pre-production and live campaigns
  • Oversee supply and new channel QA process
  • Partner with programmatic buyer(s) on inventory performance analysis and optimization strategies
  • Identify case study potential for key opportunities and lead creation with programmatic buyer(s)
  • Develop best practices for inventory solutions/new channels and regularly communicate out to the larger programmatic team

Qualifications

    Milestones

    • 5+ years of experience working with RTB, DSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, verification partners and other supply platforms 
    • Deep understanding of programmatic planning, buying, and ad tech vendors
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions, specifically Excel
    • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills
    • Excellent communication and writing skills
    • Strong project and time management skills
    • Strong desire to contribute to a team

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year, accredited college or university. 

    Previous Experience

    • 4-6 years of overall media planning experience; minimum of 5 years digital media planning.

    Compensation Range: $70,000 - $117,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
