    Job Description

    The Affiliate Sr. Associate Planner will be responsible for the day-to-day workings and growth of the channel to help achieve business objectives and support the team.

    Planning:

    • Grow program through the identification and recruitment new prospective partners.
    • Manage partner needs, communications and ongoing relationships.
    • Identify and test new opportunities within the affiliate program in collaboration with media / affiliate leadership and clients.
    • Identify new sources of revenue: own and build mid-tier and long tail publisher relationships, negotiate media placements and packages, evaluate performance, and make recommendations for future investments.
    • Recruit, manage and develop mid-tier and long tail publisher relationships on behalf of advertisers, communicating expectations, sharing best practices, disseminating offers and promotions, and providing account updates to an advertiser's growing publisher base.
    • Support Affiliate leadership in developing programs including key objectives, strategies and timing for acquisition.

    Buying:

    • Negotiate multiple payout structures including CPL, CPA and CPC.
    • Negotiate exclusive content opportunities and availability of paid placements.
    • Onboard Affiliate partners with necessary documentation and brand guidelines.

    Results Analysis:

    • Actively consult with partners on overall program performance weekly.
    • Track, analyze and report on performance by category and retailers and provide regular detailed reporting on program performance to team.
    • Optimize buys, renegotiate rates, cancel or renew as necessary, as well as refresh and optimize creative units.
    • Support in reporting and analysis for affiliate performance.

    Management:

    • Manage day-to-day aspects of campaigns including adjusting CPC bids, daily budgets, day-parting and segmentation.
    • Interact effectively with all levels of management and interface with other internal associates to resolve customer problems and opportunities.
    • Coordinate budgets with Affiliate partners as well as monitor pacing issues.
    • Oversee data flow to/from affiliate partners; including troubleshooting and fixing errors with the support of IT, Affiliates, etc. Support other various short-term projects.
    • Invoice & billing management.

    Qualifications

    • 1-3+ years of Affiliate/Aggregator experience
    • Ideally have experience managing in Impact Radius, CJ, or Rakuten
    • Able to manage day-to-day program execution
    • Solid understanding of direct marketing performance metrics
    • Proven proficiency in computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Negotiation skills
    • Time management skills
    • Proficient in managing numbers

    Additional Information

    Compensation Range: $76,000 - $84,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
