Job Description

Due to an exciting new business win, we're looking for a proactive and driven Project Manager to join our team based in Melbourne. This is an incredible opportunity to join an iconic agency working with great people on a dynamic client portfolio. You’ll get to spearhead the day-to-day development and execution of projects for clients to ensure the agency delivers to agreed solutions that are on time, no budget, and with exceptional accuracy.

What you’ll get up to in the role:

  • Work on one of Australia’s biggest and best-known brands in the banking/financial services category
  • Partner with your clients and build strong and lasting relationships. 
  • Drive the delivery process working with creative, production and traffic to ensure work is delivered to agreed milestones and budget.
  • Develop and oversee timelines for all projects, ensuring all departments and partners adhere to timelines
  • Problem solve with other departments across the process, project, people and profit, through proactive collaboration and constructive communication
  • Build a thorough understanding of the agency’s integrated capabilities to delivering solutions
  • Hold regular status meetings with team members and stakeholders to track progress, resolve issues, and adjust plans as needed
  • Manage financial processes for clients/projects as well as monitor project budgets and track costs
  • Partner with senior business management leads on financial and operational reporting

This role is full-time/part-time negotiable. 

 

Qualifications:

The person we’re looking for has: 

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role or agency environment
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for project management
  • Good under pressure with problem-solving skills and experience in managing timelines and budgets
  • Basic negotiation experience on costs and timing
  • Able to work both independently and in partnership with your colleagues
  • Tertiary qualification or project management certification would be beneficial but not required.
