Job Description

As Operations Manager, you will occupy a senior role within the team. You will have to manage the day to day running of the account. A key part of the role will be monitor the wider teams output with strong links into the more junior levels of the team.

 A key part of the role will also be to ensure that taxonomies are correct, that POs are not overspent, that spends are accurate and that deadlines are met. You will need to be a curious, self-motivated individual with a broad knowledge of all media who can demonstrate understanding of the booking process.
Maintaining the high Operational standards of this account is crucial to its success and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong internal relationships across multiple teams / departments
  • Ensuring all output from the team is completed accurately and within deadline
  • Prioritisation of tasks on the basis of efficiency / monetary savings and criticality to the business
  • Ensuring that correct taxonomies and booking categories are used to enable ease of reporting
  • Overall accuracy of Publicis Next finance
  • Liaising with Client Accounting team and Accounts Payable team to ensure bookings are invoiced to client on time and that vendors are paid
  • Rationalising decisions, both verbally and in written form, to internal teams as well as clients
  • Managing team day to day and leading status meetings with them to discuss and manage workload
  • Monitoring performance, development, training, motivation and happiness of team

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need:

Skills and Experience

  • Self-driven, results-oriented, solutions-focused with a positive outlook
  • Excellent project management skills to prioritise tasks on this busy account
  • Be confident working with numbers and large amounts of data
  • Be adept at interpreting data and identifying themes and inconsistencies
  • Be proficient in the use of Excel spreadsheets with the ability to write and understand basic formulae
  • Highly organised and capable of working independently as well as supervising more junior members of the team
  • Be confident in leading a team and able to stand firm when necessary in ensuring processes are followed if challenged by other teams / departments
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy with the ability to quality check their own work
  • Be able to quickly learn and assimilate information and adapt to new systems and databases
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks accurately
