Job Description

The responsibilities of the Sr. Analyst, Data Analytics & Intelligence role include reporting and analyzing CRM marketing performance and partnering with the larger analytics team to develop dashboard solutions for assigned clients. 

Working across analytics disciplines—including Engineering and BI Product Development—the Sr. Analyst answers business questions through data analysis, data visualization, and intelligent interpretation that produces meaningful insights.

Additionally, the Sr. Analyst works closely with Data Engineering on dashboard automations, with a focus on defining measurement requirements and data specifications.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and maintain Tableau dashboards; contribute to ongoing dashboard product enhancements to improve functionality, add features, and implement new requirements
  • Craft a meaningful data-driven story that answers business questions, enables decision making, or provides strategic recommendations; present analyses and narratives in an aesthetically pleasing and brand-appropriate format
  • Thoroughly explore unfamiliar data to identify major and minor trends as well as important distributions
  • Test hypotheses based on exploratory data analyses; independently evaluate these hypotheses and surmise if they can be proven or disproven with available data
  • Independently problem solve, troubleshoot technical issues/bugs in SQL, Tableau, etc.
  • Become a subject matter expert in analytical tools and techniques including advanced SQL, Tableau, and other analytics solutions

Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of marketing analytics experience
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and analytic dashboard development; experience with Tableau (preferred), Domo, Power BI, Shiny, GBQ or other platforms
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques, such as multivariate regression analysis, predictive modeling, logistic regression, factor analysis, forecasting, consumer profiling, and ROI measurement
  • Experience developing strategic analytic roadmaps and managing projects to effectively deliver products, insights, and recommendations to client stakeholders
  • Fluent in SQL (required), working knowledge of Python, R, SAS, SPSS, or any other advanced analytics tools (plus)
  • An understanding of integrated direct marketing principles, and cross-channel marketing measurement and analytic strategies
  • Working knowledge of site analytics suites, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to develop presentations, deliver insights and recommendations
  • Ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Google Slides, Google Sheets a plus
  • Proven track record of managing effective working relationships with client stakeholders

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $105,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
